Francesca is the owner of ReCenterd Therapy. After graduating from Boston University with her BA in Psychology followed by her Masters in Social Work from New York University, she began her career as a mental health counselor. Francesca helps her clients navigate difficult life challenges by examining relationships dynamics through the lense of empathy. Over the last decade she has strengthened her clinical skills by working in both the private and public sectors. In addition to individual therapy sessions, Francesca dedicates much of her time on community engagement, professional development, and supervision.
Megan’s focus is with adolescents, teens and adults to help them navigate challenging life events. She believes that balance, communication, and boundaries—while simple in concept are often difficult to implement. Focusing on creating a compassionate and supportive environment, where focusing on each client as a whole person. By utilizing your strengths and examining the systems you live within, we can work together to find balance, establish healthy communication, and set meaningful boundaries. Building rapport is key to a successful therapeutic relationship, as you are the expert in your own life. I’m here to support you in achieving the version of life you desire through an evidence-based, person-centered approach, tailored to your needs.
Kenisha's focus is primarily on children, adolescents, and young adults. Having served in education as a college career advisor, behavioral technician, and therapeutic mentor for over four years, she is familiar with issues that students face regarding depression, anxiety, stress, substance use, anger, and identity exploration. She uses cognitive behavioral therapy and takes on a humanistic approach to helping individuals identify negative and positive thought patterns to foster change in their lives.
Dave's focus is primarily on adolescents, young adults and couples. Having served in education as a teacher, coach, and in various administrator roles for over 25 years, he is well-acquainted with issues that students face, ranging from anxiety and depression to stress management and identity development. Additionally, he has had the privilege of walking alongside couples and helping them in their relationship skills, whether that be pre-marital counseling, marital therapy, or just relationship building. Having been trained in the Gottman method, he often uses many of their methods in helping couples learn to create shared meaning.
